Job Role: Trainee Shoemaker

Location: Leicester, LE8

Salary: National Minimum Wage
Type: Temp to Perm

Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday . 8am to 3:30pm on Friday

Our client is a leading clothing and shoe manufacturing company.

They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working trainee shoemaker who will be based in their manufacturing facility in Leicestershire.

The successful candidate will be fully trained on all aspects of shoe making, with training expected to last between 6 months to a year.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn a range of skills with great progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Good attention to detail

  • Be comfortable with standing up for a long period

  • Manual dexterity

  • Be committed, reliable and punctual

  • Be able to work as part of a team or on their own
