Job Title: Toolmaker/Manual Machinist

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: £13-£14.50/hour + shift allowance. Overtime available.

Shifts: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights

The Role

Our Nottingham based client has an exciting opportunity job for a Toolmaker to join their team.

The Candidate

What we are looking for:

  • Set, run and operate Toolroom machines consisting of EDM wire eroding, CNC mill and lathe machines, cylindrical and surface grinders to a high level of skill.

  • Understand and make parts using engineering and third angle projection drawings, understanding most general dimension and tolerance requirements;

  • Support and help to improve manufacturing methods;

  • Assist production departments to maintain and refurbish machine parts and associated equipment, and inputting of data.
