Location: Leicester

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 / annum

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

Our client who is a manufacturer and supplier of complete lift packages, lift components and peripheral devices to the UK lift industry is looking for a software engineer to join there expanding team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Create and maintain software and hardware solutions in support of assigned projects

• Work closely with the Team Leader and other team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects

• Participate in team design reviews as appropriate

• Provide the basis & some content for product documentation

• Undertake open-ended design projects based on customer input

• Ensure coherent & professional communication with customer peer groups

The Candidate

Experience of:

• Firmware development

• Software development

• Electronic circuit design

• Facilitate PCB layout

• Modification and prototype construction

Additional skills that may be useful:

• Some hardware experience useful

• Education BSc or BEng Hons in relevant subjects

• Min 5 years of post-grad experience
