Sliding Head Operator/Setter

Job Role: Sliding Head Operator/Setter

Location: Nuneaton (CV11)

Working Hours: (Days) Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-13:30. (Nights) Mon-Thurs 16:30-03:00.

Pay: £16 per hour plus (Overtime Time + Third) (Nights +£1.25 per hour shift allowance)

The Role

A role has become available for a Sliding Head Operator/Setter at a precision engineering company based in Nuneaton.

The Candidate

  • Have a proven history working with Citizen Sliding Head machines

  • Have experience working in an Aerospace environment

  • Have experience working with Inconel and Heat resistant Alloys

  • Have a keen eye for detail

  • Be able to create and alter simple programs offline (at the machine)

  • Be capable of working with close tolerances as low as 0.005mm

  • Be able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment

  • Be reliable with a great work attitude and positive attitude
