We are recruiting an experienced Shipping Co-ordinator to join a successful company based in the Leicester area.

Working in a small team, the main purpose of the role will be to monitoring import arrivals, communicating with customers warehouses and keeping databases updated.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate with internal teams, factories, and external logistics to fulfil on time deliveries
• Review all import shipping documentation
• Liaise with freight forwarding agents
• Ensure all paperwork is accurately processed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience of import freight shipping and knowledge of customs procedures
• Knowledge of liaising with airlines and shipping lines
• Good organisation skills
• A problem-solving, pro-active approach
