Hours Monday - Thursday 8.00-16.45 & Fri 8.00-12.30
Our client is a leading international manufacturing client based in Derby. And are looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager to join their Derby team.
The Senior Account Manager Role:
The Senior Account Manager would be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients within the aerospace industry through:
Orderbook Management: Performing regular inloads, managing exceptions and pricebooks, reporting internally and externally on orderbooks and orderbook stability, measuring and managing aged arrears and OTIF. Generate visual business metric, which enable business performance to be tracked on a regular basis and targets achieved.
Customer Relations Management: Be the first point of contact for account queries, managing risk and presenting customers with solutions and long terms fixes. Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing customer. Effectively handing escalation calls when required.
Programme Management: Manage the Despatch schedules. Liaise with internal teams to minimise risks to OTIF and collaborate with relevant departments/employees to achieve deadlines and reach the best outcome for the customer. Effectively plan and manage program recovery if required.
Change Management: Competently manage conflicting/changing priorities and deadlines to meet internal and external requirements.
Team Leadership and Management: Responsible for overseeing the Account Managers.
The Senior Account Manager Candidate:
Extensive knowledge of production processes and Programme Management preferably within the aerospace or automotive industry or similar.
Requires excellent analytical skills, is reliable and consistent with ability to resolve problems at all levels.
Requires thoroughness, resourcefulness, adaptability to shifting priorities/deadlines and multi-tasking.
MRP management.
Capable user of Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Confident communicator across all disciplines within the organization and must possess the ability to interact effectively and timely with all levels.
Ability to create presentations and present information internally and externally to customers and senior management in an engaging manner via various methods.
Strong customer focus combined with business development skills and commercial awareness.
Strive for excellent customer satisfaction even during challenging project timescales/deliveries and takes full ownership of the assigned customer account.
Actively drives other departments to meet customer expectations.
Resilient and able to work under pressure, as part of a team but often on their own initiative.
Ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels to establish and meet expectations.
Work as a team to drive performance excellence in the site.
