Sales Executive (Office Based)

Salary £20 - £25k plus uncapped commission

Our client a specialist supplier of advanced equipment and materials for science and research are looking for an experienced B2B Sales Executive to join their business. You will be responsible for a specific portfolio and will be driven to seek new business as well as account manage existing clients. Your key responsibilities will include;

You should have a proven track record in sales and ideally, A Levels in Chemistry/Physics.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver on agreed sales and profit targets

  • Manage your sales targets and pipeline

  • Generate new business sales leads and opportunities

  • Provide a quick and efficient response to customer enquiries

  • Maintain and develop current relationships with existing customers and suppliers

  • Maintain the sales CRM system

  • Work closely with all members of the Sales and Marketing team to ensure a cross flow of information

  • Ability to communicate intelligently, confidently and professionally

  • Highly motivated, target-driven with a pro-active approach to workload

  • An enquiring mind and desire to stay up to date with product developments

  • Strong organisational skills and a tenacious nature

  • The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively

  • A sound knowledge of chemical formulae as well as metric and imperial units of measurement

  • Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
