We are recruiting an experienced Rental Manager to join a successful company based in the Leicester area and lead the rental team.

Working for a well-established company, the main purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of the rental operation for a large diverse fleet of commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the industry.

Duties and responsibilities of the Rental Manager:

• Coach and mentor the team, monitor KPIs, holding regular 121s
• Ensure financial budgets are achieve and hold responsibility for the P&L
• Ensure that business opportunities are maximised
• Maintain relationships with suppliers

The ideal Rental Manager candidate will have:

• Previous experience within transport, rentals, logistics or similar
• Hold or be working towards Transport Manager CPC
• Strong communication skills with the ability to maximise cost savings
• A strong work ethic and a team player mentality
