The Role:

A job has become available for a Quality Inspector at a reputable precision engineering business based in Coventry. The position will involve working on small batches.

Candidate's check list:

  • Carry out inspections on parts using a Coordinate-measuring machine.

  • Utilising general quality inspection techniques and manual measurement equipment (vernier's, micrometer's, gauges) to inspect a variety of parts ranging from small precision components through to large components.

  • Documenting quality issues and reporting Non-conformances.

  • Previous experience of operating a CMM Experience of general inspection duties within an Engineering/Manufacturing setting

  • An understanding of working with micrometers, Verniers and Gauges and calibration techniques would be advantageous but not essential
