Quality Inspection Supervisor

Job Title: Quality Inspection Supervisor (Ref 18686)

The Role

This job will involve managing a team that is inspecting parts to ensure they are manufactured to TS Quality Standards, writing reports for clients and liaising with the production team to solve quality problems.

You will also be responsible for all gauge activity.

Achieve departmental KPI's (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity etc.).

Attend and actively contribute to production meetings when required.

Conduct inspection processes in accordance with documented standards.

Cover Inspection roles as required at times of holiday, sickness or increased inspection requirements.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working with in a quality department of a precision engineering company.

• You will have experience of working to TS Quality Standards, report writing, working to client specifications and working closely with the production team.

• You will be able to work under your own initiative and be able to problem solve quality issues.

• Able to improve trend across Inspection focused (SQD) KPI's

• Automotive experience is essential (IATF / TS)

• Gauge management experience
