The Role
Due to an exciting new HS2 project based in the midlands, our client is requiring several Pre-cast Concrete Production Operatives.

You will be part of the team preparing and producing over 3,000 pre-cast concrete bridge beams which will be transported to 75 sites around the country for the new HS2 route between London and Birmingham. These impressive structures will be up to 30m long and weigh up to 100t.

The Candidate

There are a range of jobs available at all stages of the production process, including:

• Operating rebar cut and bend machine
• Making up reinforcement cages
• Mould opening/ demoulding and cleaning
• Strand tensioning, casting, detensioning, demoulding
• Repairing/ sandblast on beam edges
• Steel unloading/ coils loading
• Operating Gantry craneConcreting
• Pre-stressing
