Job Role: Production Manager
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Working Hours: (Days) 40 hours a week.
Pay: £40-45K Salary

The Role
A job for a skilled Production Manager with experience of working within a busy engineering/manufacturing environment has become available.
Liaising with Contract/Project Managers to identify any problems, answer any queries and ensure drawings being used for production are signed off as checked prior to issue.
Analyse and review current manufacturing operations/processes, monitor time booked against estimates and look for ways to improve efficiency on production lead times to ensure the manufacture of customers' orders are produced to the correct specification to meet budgetary constraints.
Maintaining high standards throughout the workshop, you will liaise with the H&S Manager to monitor all health and safety risks and enforce PPE as required.
The Candidate
Experience of working within in CNC manufacturing environment. - Essential
The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Excellent understanding of the full shop floor process.
At least 1-2 years' experience as a production manager, managing a team or multiple departments/shifts.
An understanding of production planning/scheduling processes.
