Job role: Production Controller
Location: Bulwell (NG16)
Working hours: Days (40 Hour Week)
Pay: Up to £30K
The Role
A job has become available for a Production Controller at a reputable precision engineering business based in Bulwell.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor Works Order progress in line with ERP requirements
Track priority orders and ensure timely delivery
Tracking production schedules and making sure that they are met by communicating changes to the production team
Communicating with supporting departments to prioritise workloads
Coordinating work hours with management to ensure that production needs are met efficiently and effectively
Preparing reports on the status of production, including any delays or problems that may occur
Reviewing production reports to identify any potential problems or bottlenecks
Preparation of KPI's and performance trend analysis
The Candidate
Work experience in a production environment essential
Good understanding of shop floor process and procedure
Strong organizational skills
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Strong MS Office knowledge
Tenacity and initiative
Degree or 2 years relevant work experience
Excellent telephone manner
Extremely organised and self-motivated.
Commercially minded.
Effective time management.
