Part Qualified Accountant/Finance Officer

The Role:
To manage the financial transactions within the business, delivering on strategic business objectives and providing timely management information to key business stakeholders
Oversee Commercial Finance administration on behalf of the bureau including Bacs - tracking client funds and report on business performance and profitability to ensure business objectives are met
Manage cash flow / Credit control within the business
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage the month end process to produce timely and accurate monthly Company invoicing
* Review expenditure on monthly Management Accounts
* Ensure compliance with audit recommendations
* Making decisions on supplier payment requests and communicating payment dates with suppliers
* Processing monthly payment run
* Monitor credit control within the business recommending credit terms and managing problem
customers
* Assist in the preparation of company rolling budget
* Provide forecasts for future financial periods for a variety of business stakeholders
* Work with Company accountant for Annual accounts
* Ensure all Government organisations are paid on time and in full e.g. HMRC
* Exhibit leadership skills including the ability to resolve both internal and external queries
* Increase departmental effectiveness, engagement and accountability by communicating values,
strategies and objectives.
The Candidate:
* Ability to work on multiple areas within a fast-paced business environment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key business stakeholders including colleagues, directors, investors and auditors
Adaptable to change and open to new ideas with a growth mindset
Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on pre-set objectives
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel essential
Experience with using Microsoft Office 365 desirable
Experience with Sage 50 Accounts or other accounting software package desirable
Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant desirable
Experience within the Managed Services industry desirable but by no means essential
