Job Title Material Controller
Location Nottingham, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm, Office based
Salary £30,000 per annum
The Role
Maintaining purchase orders, data base for items and suppliers in ERP System
Reviewing production plan on daily basis to assess stock requirements
Creating reports for procurement activities as per required
Responsible for keeping data up to date for suppliers, products in ERP System
Providing support to Stores and Finance team with all inquiries related to supply of goods / services and relevant documents
Ordering & expediting all production consumables
Liaising with internal stakeholders to supply indirect items or services as per requirement
The Candidate
Good standard of general education
Managing materials in an engineering and manufacturing environment
Able to maintain good working relationships internally and externally
Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality management systems
Able to prioritize own workload
Good understanding of Microsoft Office Package
Good understanding of planning, forecasting and inventory management
