Salary: £40,000-£45,000

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and innovative engineer to join my clients team in a pivotal role that bridges the realms of software development, electrical design, and mechanical CAD design for the creation of cutting-edge test rigs.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To be able to develop as well as implement schedules to meet the client demands, and being able to ensure resources are utilised efficiently and to high-quality.

• To be able to analyse and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency and to be able to be cost-effective whilst doing this.

• To monitor and control the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to prevent wastage.

• To identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, which would result in cost reduction, and driving stronger manufacturing performance.

• To collaborate with Head of Manufacturing to develop and manage budgets, ensuring the cost-effectiveness of the operation whilst maintaining high-quality standards.

• Maintain commercial records (quotations, instructions, contracts etc)

The Candidate

• A minimum of 5~ years' experience in a leadership/manufacturing role.

• To be able to implement ISO 9001 processes.

• Experience in working with a company in a similar industry.

• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

• Experience of interpreting CAD generated drawings.

• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable to work in a busy team.
