Job Role: Maintenance Technician
Location: Abingdon (OX14)
Salary: Up to £45k (Dependant on experience)

A job has become available for a Maintenance Technician at a reputable engineering business based in Oxfordshire. The position will involve primary responsibility for maintenance and
preventive maintenance of the equipment and the facility, establishing and following safe
maintenance work practices, and regulatory compliance of maintenance activities.
Write/Develop and maintain SOP's for maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipment
Train new maintenance technicians
Inspecting facility & equipment
Preventive maintenance on facility and equipment
Changing oil on equipment
Monitoring equipment status (vibration, oils analysis, visual inspection, audible
Executing receiving end of lock, tag and try procedure.
3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician
Driving licence and ability to travel - Essential
A minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the UK without company sponsorship now or in the
Associates degree in mechanical technical field such as HVAC repair, automotive repair or five years working as a mechanic in an industrial facility
The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.
Basic computer skills such as: opening, creating, and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is required.
Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes tasks.
Five+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Emergency response certification
Lean Manufacturing experience and certification
Behavioural safety leadership training and implementation experience
First aid & CPR certification
