Job Title Junior Supply Chain Administrator

Salary £14,000 - £17,000 per annum

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator based in Derby!

  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Supply Chain Administrator is responsible for general clerical responsibilities within the Supply Chain / Goods In environment

  • To support the planning

  • Purchasing and stores supervisor roles, along with any other reasonable requests made by the Company

  • Running and generation of reports to support various supply chain functions KPI generation

  • Customer forecast / order uploads into ERP system Basic planning functions

  • Liaising with production supervisors to aid planners with part status Raising of Purchase Orders

  • ERP maintenance (i.e., updating information from various external sources)

  • General office administration duties

The Candidate

  • Basic IT skills including MS Office and Outlook

  • Maths / English skills as specified in apprenticeship program

  • Achieving results - able to plan and organise own work to efficiently meet deadlines. Self-motivated to drive work through to completion and achieve high standards

  • Communication skills - able to build good working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business

  • Problem solving - able to undertake problem analysis and have good problem-solving skills OR troubleshoot own work problems; escalating to Supervisors when necessary and working with other team(s) to resolve problems

  • Supporting others - willing to support and be flexible towards others in the achievement of their goals

  • Handling change - pro-active approach to work; makes suggestions for improvements, embraces change, flexible

  • Policies and procedures - willing to adhere to HSE, quality and other company policies and procedures
