Job role: Junior Mechanical Fitter

Location: Wolverhampton (WV9)

Salary: Up to £13.50 p/h depending on experience

Hours: DAY SHIFT- 39 hours Mon-Thurs - 7am to 4pm. Fri - 7am to 12pm.

The Role - Junior Mechanical Fitter

A job has become available for multiple Junior Mechanical Fitters at a reputable engineering business based in Wolverhampton. The position will involve fitting and welding bespoke HGV Vehicles.

Junior Mechanical Fitter's check list:

    • Working in the Operations department, assembling waste handling machinery for mounting to commercial vehicles.
    • Assembling and fitting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems to our equipment and commercial vehicles.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
    • Working in a team to achieve production targets.
    • Previous experience working within an assembly/production role is ideal but not required as training would be provided to become a Junior Mechanical Fitter.
    • Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics.
    • Assembly experience.
    • Experience in Mig welding.
    • Experience working on cars, motorbikes or commercial vehicles.
