We have an exciting opportunity to join Optima UK as an Engineering Recruitment Specialist working within a growing team. Optima are an independently owned Recruitment business which allows you to work autonomously within your role. The business specialises in the recruitment of Engineering, Manufacturing and Professional Services. We also have a Training division and a Consultancy service.
We are looking for an individual that has a technical Engineering background, that may have worked within an Engineering environment and would now like to move into more of an Account Management role supporting Engineering candidates in finding them new permanent, temporary or contract positions.
Our Engineering team specialise in the placement of staff within skilled Engineering roles such as Quality Engineering, Electrical and Maintenance Engineers, Design Engineers, Project Engineers and many more.
Day to Day Responsibilities will include:
Identifying suitable candidates for live Engineering roles through pro-active searching methods;
Telephone interviewing candidates in detail to understand their suitability for opportunities;
Account management of clients in the management of the recruitment process from organising interviews, communicating interview feedback, successful offers and beyond;
Account Management of candidates and building relationships;
Providing exceptional customer service to candidates and clients over the telephone and in some instances face to face;
Regular contact calls with candidates
Writing job adverts and advertising all live vacancies
Working closely with the marketing team to advertise through other social media avenues
Our ideal candidate will come from an Engineering background so that when you are speaking with candidates you will have the credibility, knowledge and understanding of their technical skills.
You will be a self-driven individual with a strong emphasis on building candidate relationships;
Account management skills would be an advantage;
Personable and professional in nature;
You will be adaptable and have the ability to work within a fast-paced changing environment;
Highly customer focused;
Confident with your communication skills over the telephone;
Working as part of a team-player
