Credit Controller

Optima Professional Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join our client based in Leicester.

The Credit Controller will report directly to the Transactional Finance Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Minimise bad debt.

  • Resolve credit risk and problem accounts.

  • Ensure high performance by implementing ideas and processes.

  • Proactively chase overdue accounts.

  • Ensure that external customers adhere to company credit policies.

  • Ad hoc duties when necessary.

You will also need the following skills:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

  • Ability to keep to deadlines and good organisational skills.

  • Experienced in debt collection.

Our client is looking to hire someone who has previously performed in a similar role and has extensive knowledge of Credit Control.
