Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Long Eaton

Salary: £25,000

Optima Professional Services have a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a rapidly growing business based in Long Eaton. You will have to be driven in reducing aged debt and have a passion for building strong customer relationships. Your duties will be:

  • Chasing outstanding payments

  • Setting up customer accounts

  • Sending out statements to customers

  • Ensuring customers pay on time

  • Negotiating payment plans

  • Dealing with queries and discrepancies

  • Reconciling customer accounts

  • Allocating customer payments to the correct invoices

  • Checking customer credit ratings and updating credit limits

  • Producing the monthly Direct Debit payments

  • Working closing with the Sales team & Customer Services

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Credit Controller and will have:

  • Bookkeeping skills

  • Good communication skills, written & verbal

  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Self-motivated

  • Good IT knowledge

Experience in using Sage 200 and good knowledge of Excel would be advantageous.

£22,000–£25,000 per annum

£23,000–£27,000 per annum

£28,000–£35,000 per annum

£11.00–£13.00 per hour
