Job Title Commissioning & Development Engineer
Salary £35,000 to £40,000 + overtime

Due to this success and sustained growth they are now recruiting for an experienced Control Systems/Commissioning Engineer to join their multi-discipline team, to deliver the machine control system for a range of exciting machinery based projects.
Responsible for commissioning & developing software, PLC & HMI coding for a wide variation of projects
To be responsible for the functional operation of machine control system solutions for special purpose automated machinery projects
Service and fault finding of control and safety systems at the company and at customer sites
Modifications and enhancements to existing systems
Integration of various robots
To communicate effectively to customers, suppliers and team members
To be part of a team dedicated to delivering projects to plan and budget
To develop and commission machine control and safety systems
Responsible for machine functionality
Commissioning of machine control systems, machine performance testing, Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance testing
Provide customer support that can include visits to customer's site throughout the UK and to assist with the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting when required.
PLC coding experience with B&R, Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi
Experience of programming and integrating 6-axis robots into Automation systems would be an advantage.
Competence in electrical design for machine automation
Knowledge and understanding of the various national and international electrical standards for machine design and machine safety systems and requirements to CE mark machine systems
Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering machine control system projects to required timescale and budget
HNC/HND or degree qualified or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering or closely related control system discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in control systems engineering related to automation machinery.
