Job role: CNC Milling Setter Operator

Location: Rugby

Working hours: Day shift

Wages: £up to 13/ hour

The Role

A job has become available for a CNC Milling Setter Operator at a reputable precision engineering business based in Rugby. The position will involve working on small batches, manufacturing large scale products for the oil & gas industry.

The role is on permanent contract and the working hours are on Day shift, Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.45pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.

In the future there are opportunities for Afternoon shift as well, from 2pm - 12am.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must have previous CNC Milling Setting and Operating experience, with Heidenhein control system preferably however experience with other software can be considered as well as training will be offered if required. Experience working on large components would be advantageous. The ability to read and correctly interpret engineering drawings and to use engineering measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers etc. is essential.

Good attitude and work ethics is a key parameter for our client.
