Job Title: CATIA V5 Programmer (Ref. 16092)

The Role

The Catia Programmer will provide programming expertise for multi-axis high speed machining of aircraft components, to support a number of private and commercial programs. You will plan, create and guide machining techniques, cutting tool selection, manufacturing methods. Using all of your experience, you we be responsible for directing the operations for a range of NC equipment used to manufacture parts, tools and assemblies.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will work alongside Manufacturing Engineers, Toolmakers and other Programmers meaning you will have to work effectively in teams. However, sometimes you will be expected to lead your own activity and work autonomously.

The Candidate

  • Fully conversant with Catia V5.

  • Fully conversant with Solidworks 3D modelling.

  • Has experience within the Aerospace industry.

  • Has experience of both Machining and Programming a variety of materials especially Aluminum and 300M.

  • Has experience of 5 axis machining on both Milling and Millturn machines.
