Job role: CAD/CAM Programmer (Offline)

Location: Coventry

Working hours: Mon - Thus (7:30am - 4:30pm), Fri (7:30am - 12:30pm)

Pay: Up to £18 per hour, dependant on experience. Plus time and half overtime.

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The Role

A job has become available for a CAD/CAM Programmer (Offline) at a reputable precision engineering business based in Coventry. The position will involve working on precision components, manufacturing parts for mainly the Automotive and Aerospace industries.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with CAD/CAM Programming for a similar company - Essential.

  • Experience with manufacturing components - Essential.

  • Experienced with Powermill, Powershape, Fusion 360 and Autodesk. - Essential.

  • Have worked with materials such as; Aluminium, Titanium, Stainless steel, Tool Steel, Inconel, Etc.

  • Created Automotive parts such as; Steering knuckles, Control arms, Tooling Fixtures, Etc.

Our client, established in 1979 is a precision engineering company based in Coventry. They specialise in complex prototype and low volume high precision component production. They produce all designs; CAD/CAM, programming and machining work in-house to achieve best value for its customers.
