Working Hours: (Days) Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00.

The Role

My client are looking for a CAD Designer (E+I) for their production facility based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. You will support the production of pipework for major infrastructure projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your role will be to support the Electrical & Instrumentation engineering discipline through the production of high quality, single line diagrams, loop diagrams, general arrangement drawings, Hook-up drawings, cable routing drawings etc. You should be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail. You will also have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative, as well as part of a team.

The Candidate

• As a CAD Designer you will have a good working knowledge and experience of AutoCAD (or similar CAD packages, mainly in 2D) and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Essential

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working within oil and gas related industries

• You will have an engineering background and recognised engineering qualifications, with an electrical / instrumentation bias, together with an awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.
