Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: Between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum + bonus

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a successful and growing Business Services provider in Leicester.

In this role, you will be involved in the following:

  • Run direct sales, generate leads and build relationships with potential clients;

  • Identify new sales opportunities and maximise sales potential;

  • Provide product demonstrations face-to-face and via Webinars or Skype to introducers and clients;

  • Research new opportunities within niche markets;

  • Identify, recruit and develop new partners within the existing channels;

  • Create and host workshops and seminars;

  • Achieve KPI's and hit sales targets;

  • Provide consultative sales and recognise opportunities to cross-sell the company's portfolio;

  • Provide reports and forecasts to senior teams;

  • Work with the team to develop the department and prepare for future growth;

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Demonstrable track record of external sales success;

  • High level of self-motivation and willingness to win;

  • Previous experience of selling and demonstrating software solutions;

  • Ability to strategize for the customer base with short and long-term goals;

  • Excellent communicator, professional and approachable;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and previous experience using CRM systems;

The Package

Salary: Between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum

Bonus: £5000 quarterly + annual bonus

Laptop, car allowance, phone + flexibility with home working.
