Job Role: Bench Hand Joiner
Type: 3-5 Month Contract Role (with the potential for extension)
Location: Leicester, LE9
Salary: £17-£20 per hour depending on experience (Up to 50 hours per week)
Shift: Days - 7:30am start

The role:

We are currently looking for skilled Bench Hand Joiners for a company that manufacture high end point of sale products based in Leicestershire. This role will involve the manufacture, assembly, gluing and finishing of wood products for the point of sale and leisure sectors. You must be able to use hand tools and quality check your own work.

The candidate:

Experience in bench hand joinery including laminating and cabinet making.

If you are apprentice trained or equivalent this would be advantageous.

Experience using various types of tools and wood machinery including Routers, edge banders, planers, and table saws.

The company:

A well-established manufacturing company working purely in the POS sector. They manufacture parts from wood for a number of high-end retailers.
