Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Leicester

Salary: £19,000

The Role

Optima Professional Services are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join an energy business that is undergoing a period of rapid growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Input invoices & credit notes into Codas

  • Raising depot petty cash cheques

  • Bacs run

  • Concur Expenses

  • Allocation of payments

  • Email & Phone Queries

  • Statement Reconciliations

  • Arranging Fast payments

  • Setting up of Templates for Fast payments

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk and will have:

  • Customer-focused, and can communicate clearly and confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines

  • Takes ownership for resolving issues and seeks assistance when needed

  • Works accurately and with attention to detail

  • Works with integrity in the best interest of both customer and company

  • Excellent customer service, influencing and interpersonal skills

A full driving licence would also be advantageous as public transport is limited.

£17,000–£19,000 per annum

£40,000–£42,500 per annum
