Optima UK wears it pink… for a good cause

Here are some of the Optima UK team who took part in the wear it pink fundraising event on Friday (October 20th, 2023).

The awareness day is organised by the national charity Breast Cancer Now, which campaigns “for the best possible treatment, services and care, for anyone affected by breast cancer”.

The charity funds vital research into breast cancer and it supports people with information and with specialist nurses.

Larraine Boorman, the chief executive at Optima UK, said: “It’s good to come together to support worthwhile causes, and this really is one of those. As Breast Cancer Now states, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with one woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.”
